What is it ? |
GetFeetWet Navigation is happy to announce the
launching of the Premier Warranty Program (PWP).
PWP is the latest
component of GetFeetWet Navigation Total Customer Care initiative that
focuses on providing optimum product value and customer service to
clients. Other successful programs under the Total Customer Care
umbrella program include the
GetFeetWet Exchange Program and the recently launched
GetFeetWet Communication Center.
PWP is a program
that adds services to the standard factory warranty offered by
manufacturer of certain products.
PWP addresses the
most frequent concerns of valued customers whenever they make
their purchases.
PWP is not available
to all product lines. Please visit
Communication Center and inquire
about product coverage. |

Length of Coverage |
PWP coverage
supplements the factory warranty and has the same length of coverage
as the original factory warranty. In other words, if the factory
warranty runs for 1 year from time of purchase then the
PWP will also be
available for the same time period of 1 year. |

PWP Services |
- Firmware upgrade
program - clients will be
notified of new releases of firmware. Firmware updates will be made
available to clients in the appropriate removable media platform
(memory chip) and will be shipped to the clients upon request.
No more need to buy additional hardware to write the firmware update
to a removable media or figuring out how firmware updates can be
applied to the unit. Just a simple plug-and-play. Clients can order
the pre-loaded upgrade media (memory chip) online. Clients will be
charge a deposit fee which is approximately the cost of a blank
memory card. GetFeetWet will ship the upgrade chip and once the
client completes the firmware upgrade, the chip can be sent back to
GetFeetWet for a 100% refund of the deposit. For the
client's convenience, a self-stamped return envelope is also going
to be provided to the client to return the chip for the deposit
refund.
- DOA Cross-Shipment
Service - Clients will be
assured that they will not be without the services of their
equipment during the first 30-days due to a faulty equipment out of
the box. GetFeetWet will immediately ship a replacement as soon as
client provides the shipper tracking number.
- Instructional Video
Loaner Service - Depending on
the the availability of an instructional video for the specific
unit,
PWP will make
available to the client upon request the tutorial video for
unit purchased.
Clients can order the instructional video online. Client will
be charge a deposit fee which is approximately the replacement cost
of the tutorial video. GetFeetWet will be ship the
instructional video and once the client is done with the
video, the video can be sent back to GetFeetWet for a 100%
refund of the deposit. Client has 30 days to return the
video for a full credit of the deposit made.

Cost of the program |
PWP
is offered at nominal cost to GetFeetWet clients (see below for
product page detail). The cost represents simply represents the
processing fee of the program.
PWP is offered to
GetFeetWet client as part of the Total Customer Care initiative which
focuses on customer satisfaction.
PWP is not a revenue
generating program.
