With the addition of the Parcel Forwarding Service, the array of products that you can purchase through GetFeetWet is now virtually limitless. Parcel Forwarding Service clients can shop from any United States company, Auction sites, or even individuals for any product that legally be shipped from the United States to the client's destination country. GetFeetWet Parcel Forwarding Services will receive, document, consolidate, prepare Customs Declaration, and ship based on client instructions.

How To Sign-Up For Parcel Forwarding Services

Step 5 Await eMail from GetFeetWet confirming that your account is now enabled for Parcel Forwarding Services. eMail will also contain an assigned Bin ID which you will use as part of  your shipping address when ordering products to be shipped for consolidation.  

 

How Parcel Forwarding Services Benefits You:
1) You will be able to consolidate products for shipping from:
    -  any  United States Company selling products you are interested including Amazon.com, etc
    -  auction site like  eBay
    -  individuals including families and friends.
Products can be consolidated in  our main warehouse in California, United States and shipped to international destinations.  You can consolidate any product that can be purchase legally in the United States regardless of size or quantity.
2) You will be able to buy  products even from United States companies that do not ship direct to international addresses or those that do not accept international forms of payment (see Personal Shopper Option below)
3) You will be able to save international shipping cost by taking advantage of GetFeetWet Navigation, inc  low FEDEX international shipping rates which is one of the lowest in the industry due to the large volume of transactions we do with FEDEX. For example, to ship a 45 lb package  from our location to Norway, here are the rate comparisons,

FEDEX.com standard rate $493.00
GetFeetWet rate $244.00

Furthermore, there will be more huge savings by consolidating your purchases into a shipment. For example, to ship multiple items having the same weight, here are the rate comparisons:

Parcel Forwarding Services  can ship from .5 lb to 2000 lbs using FEDEX  International Economy shipping method. For a single shipment weighing more than 2,000 lbs, clients can avail of a special program  that will  lower shipping cost (a quote will be provided on a case to case basis). Large volume shipment can be palletized and plastic wrapped if requested by the client.

4) All products received in our warehouse will be inspected and a receiving report will be provided to Parcel Forwarding Services clients. This will avoid the cost and hassle of returning damage from international destinations back to the seller if the products are damaged or  when the incorrect products were shipped.

5) Parcel  Forwarding Services clients have the option of requesting digital images emailed to them before packages are shipped to international destination (see Product Imaging Option below)

6) As part of our Parcel  Forwarding Services, GetFeetwet  also offers a "Personal Shopper" option. This will allow clients to purchase products from US companies  that do not sell direct to international clients or those that do not accept international forms of payment. Also, with this option, clients will be able to purchase products from popular shopping sites such as eBay or Amazon. GetFeetWet Navigation will charge the client for the amount of the purchase plus a 10% service fee and then purchase the products from the United States company at the price indicated by the client.

7) Parcel  Forwarding Services clients have the flexibility of providing Customs Declaration instructions to accommodate special buying or shipping scenarios like family gifts, merchandise samples, warranty returns, "used" products, etc. to accurately reflect Customs Declaration values.

8) Parcel  Forwarding Services clients are notified of all products received in their behalf automatically via email as orders are processed into the GetFeetWet Parcel Forwarding Services system.  Parcel  Forwarding Services clients  can also login to their account and review transaction history. Client will be able to see what products are ready for shipment and can decide what products should be shipped (split-shipping) together and to which addresses they should be shipped to (multiple address shipping)

9) Free unlimited storage for 30 or 45 days depending on the type of Parcel  Forwarding Services Account. Nominal storage fee of $5.00 per item per week will be charged after the FREE storage period.

 

How Parcel Forwarding Service  Works:
1) After signing up, Parcel Forwarding Clients will be assigned a unique Bin ID and will be allocated warehouse space where products will be stored until client provides shipping instructions. Products received for the clients will be stored Free of charge for 30 days (45 days for premier accounts). After 30 days (45 days for premier accounts) a nominal fee of $5.00 per item per week will be charge as storage fee.

Clients will be given a physical US address to have packages purchased from US companies ship to. Example:

2) When packages are received, GetFeetWet Receiving Department will:

1) Inspect the condition of outside packaging for damages.
2) Open the shipping package and tag all items with the client's Bin ID.
3) As an option, take digital pictures of each products ($2.00 service fee per item)
4) Scan UPS code , weigh each package and determine physical dimensions of the package
5) Create or add to a Parcel  Forwarding Order under client's account.
6) Store packages to allocated space for the client.
7) Notify client of receipt of package

3) Parcel  Forwarder Clients have full control over when and what packages will be shipped to their location. Each shipment will correspond to a Parcel Forwarding Order which include all the items to be shipped together (note Parcel Forwarding products will have a $0.00 price and will only reflect the shipping cost).

4) Parcel Forwarding Clients will also have some flexibility on how their packages will be declared for Customs purposes. Original invoice and packing slips from US companies  can be shipped with package or kept on file with GetfeetWet Navigation. Clients have the option of having these documents scanned by GetFeetWet Navigation ($2.00 service fee per document) and emailed to clients as an Adobe pdf file.

Clients that sign-up for the Premier Parcel Forwarding Account also have the option to have packages ship to multiple international addresses. This may benefit clients who are reselling merchandise in their home country.

How much will  Parcel Forwarding Services Cost
1)  The great news about this service is that it is all about savings. Aside from the One-Time Setup Fee ($10.00)  and the nominal  $5.00 monthly membership fee for premier accounts or the oOne-Time Setup Fee ($15.00), clients only pay for the discounted shipping cost.

2) Below are optional Services that clients with special requirements can avail of:
  - Product Digital Imaging (jpg) and eMail Fee = $2.00 per image
  - Multiple Address Fee (available to Premier Accounts only)  = $5.00 per shipment to an address other than the primary address)
  - Personal Shopper Fee (available to Premier Accounts only)  =  10% of purchase price
  - Document Imaging (pdf) and eMail Fee = $2.00 per image

 

How to Use Your Parcel Forwarding Account

1) When ordering items destined to your Parcel Forwarding Account, specify your Storage ID in the "Ship to:" address. As an example, if your name is John Smith and were assigned storage
BIN-7263746, you will provide the vendor with the following shipping address:

John Smith Clients name
GetFeetWet Navigation Our company name

BIN-7263746 Your assigned  Bin-ID

2) You can send an email to our general email box at sales@getfeetwet.com and provide information on any incoming shipment. This email will be printed and posted to your bin as a reference when the shipment is received and process. If a shipment is received without an email notification, the Receiving Unit can still process the incoming shipment as long as the storage bin is indicated on the label.

3) The shipping box will be opened by Receiving Unit and each package inside the will be processed and added to an Parcel Forwarding Order associated with your Parcel Forwarding Account. You will be automatically notified via email of any package processed into your account. The order will be on hold status (will not ship) until we receive instructions from you to ship the package. You can review each order by logging in to your account. The shipping fee for your unshipped order will be reflected in each order and will automatically adjusted as packages are consolidated to the order. You can continue to consolidate packages but you must ship these packages within Free grace period to avoid storage cost. The shipping charge must be paid in full before the shipment can be released to FEDEX.

4) Your primary/default shipping address is the address you have provided at the time you created your Parcel Forwarding Service account. You can still ship to an address other than the primary address if you have a Premier Account (service fee applies). If you want to upgrade from a Pay-As-You-Go account to Premier account, just sent an email to sales@getfeetwet.com and we will contact you for details. Regardless of what account you have, the primary address can updated once every three months.
