HERE For mariners with a keen eye for value,
the versatile 520-series plotters deliver a lot of navigation for the
money. They feature bright 5” QVGA colour
displays, worldwide satellite imagery and a new simplified user
interface. Like all Garmin plotters, these utilize WAAS/EGNOS-enabled
GPS receivers for extreme high accuracy (typically within 3 meters).
The built-in sounder on the 520s combo model can scan as deep as 1500
feet/ 457 meters (with dual frequency transducer) to clearly paint depth
contours, fish targets, structure, etc. The combo 520s also offers
split-screen capability, so you can
view map and sounder data simultaneously. Plug in optional BlueChart® g2
Vision™ cards to add true 3D-view detailed mapping capabilities (both
above and below the waterline), plus helpful auto guidance,
high-resolution photomapping detail, and “real picture” aerial photos of
ports, harbors, marinas, waterways, navigation landmarks and other
points of interest.

BlueChart g2 Vision cards provide:
- High-resolution satellite imagery when overlaid on the chart, will
