Description
Garmin International
is pleased to announce the GPSMAP 3210, GPSMAP 3206 and GPSMAP 3205.
Designed for boaters who want large-display, color chartplotters with
networking capability to combine GPS, radar, XM WX Satellite Weather, sonar
and other data. These new plotters feature built-in marine detail charts of
the United States coastline, including Alaska and Hawaii – utilizing
elements of Garmin’s new BlueChart
g2
technology. These
charts provide integrated maps for a much smoother presentation. BlueChart
g2 has all the detail of traditional BlueChart, but with 3D perspective, and
richer detail and content – data like tides and currents overlaid on the
chart. Other chart features include shaded depth contours, port plans,
wrecks, restricted areas, and more. Each plotters can also be supplemented
with BlueChart g2
preprogrammed
data cards providing extremely detailed marine charts, including highly
detailed roads, points of interest, high quality color photos for the U.S
ports, marinas, and more.
Plug into the power of
the Garmin Marine network with the Garmin 3200 series. Rugged, waterproof,
and easy to install, these chartplotters come preloaded with Garmin's
detail-rich marine cartography utilizing BlueChart g2 technology.
The GPSMAP 3205 offers
a mid-range option for boaters wanting the benefits of a seamless
plug-and-play system and built-in maps for
U.S.
coastal areas, including Alaska and Hawaii. It has a 5-inch color display,
and it can serve as a standalone plotter or network with other MFDs and
sensors to deliver XM weather, radar and sonar. Unlike its 6- and 10-inch
counterparts, this one does not offer a remote control, VGA output or video
input options. However, it does provide full Garmin marine networking
capability in a compact, budget-friendly format. Convenient soft key
functions allow you to assign a feature such as map declutter to a specific
key.
The GPSMAP 3205, along
with the 3206 & 3210 come preloaded with the latest U.S. coastal marine maps
utilizing BlueChart g2 technology. This new generation of BlueChart features
a smoother layering and better integration of map graphics for easy panning,
scrolling and zooming. It also offers a choice between a 3D
"mariner's-eye-view", or the familiar 2D direct-overhead view — to make
chart reading and orientation easier. |
